Veggie pizza with home made dough

Pizza is always a good occasion to invite friends for a nice evening. Whether you will order it form the nearest restaurant or make yourself, the most important thing is to taste authentic and delicious. My recipe below is for quick home made pizza and at my case is topped with vegetables and cheese only. Follow the instructions precisely and you will never order pizza from a restaurant again.Image

Ingredients:

– 500 g white flour

– 200 ml warm water

– 10 g of dry yeast

– 1 teaspoon white sugar

– 3 tablespoons olive oil

-1 teaspoon salt

For the toppings:

– 1 red bell pepper

– 200 g fresh mushrooms

– 3 small tomatoes

– 200-300 g shredded mozzarella cheese

For the tomato sauce:

– one can of tomato puree

– 1 glove garlic

– salt

– 1 teaspoon sugar

– 1 teaspoon of dry basil

– just a pinch of dry rosemary

Preparation:

Prepare first the tomato sauce so it will take the aroma from the herbs. In a small bowl mix the ingredients and add 3-4 tbsp of cold water if the mixture is too thick. In a separate small bowl prepare the yeast, like add it to the warm water along with the sugar. In a large bowl sift the flour, add the salt and the oil. Finally add the yeast mixture and form the dough. let it rest for 45- 60 minutes, or until double its size. Cut into slices all the vegetables. Make the pizzas thick or thin as per your desire, top with the sauce and arrange the vegetables. Sprinkle the cheese and bake in preheat to 220 degrees oven for about 15 minutes.
