This dish is simply bursting with flavors. It`s very Mediterranean, yet has this Arabic note from the cinnamon. it might be my new favorite summer dinner.
INGREDIENTS (serve 2 adults and one hungry toddler)
- 450 g lamb mince
- 1/2 white onion
- handful fresh mint
- handful fresh parsley
- 3 tbsp pine nuts
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- salt and pepper to taste
For serving:
- mixed green salad
- handful of dill, parsley and coriander
- radishes
- olives
- feta cheese
- hummus
- lemon slices
PREPARATION
- Chop the onion, nuts and herbs into small bits, or even use chopper if you have.
- Mix with the mince and season. Fry in a skillet for few minutes or until you get nice brown sear.
- Serve the ready meatballs with fresh greens, squeeze of lemon, hummus, olive, feta and radishes.
