Wild garlic and walnuts pesto

Using the fresh greens available on the market I made this green and easy pesto. You can really  unleash your fantasy when it comes to pesto recipe. This one is slightly garlicky and perfect for an afternoon munch on a nice sourdough bread. Or at least this is how we enjoyed it.

INGREDIENTS

  • one cup wild garlic leaves
  • big handful fresh basil leaves
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 4-5 tbsp olive oil
  • 30 g Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup walnuts

PREPARATION

  1. Chop coarse the herbs
  2. Shred the cheese
  3. Mix everything together and blend until smooth.
  4. Add more olive oil if you like more runny consistency
